ISC Connect Conference (Queensland)
The infrastructure sector is key to addressing some of the major challenges of our time whether it is climate change, addressing inequality or riding the wave of the technology disruption.
Within our region, we have experienced the impacts of climate change and the catastrophic aftermath of extreme weather events at an accelerating rate over the last decade; and we are already vulnerable to the negative impacts of poorly managed urban growth and declining productivity. Socio-economic equality and mobility is going backwards.
With half of the infrastructure portfolio needed to meet global needs in 2050 already planned, under construction or commissioned it is time to stop ‘kicking the can down the road’ and make some bold moves to ensure a resilient, climate positive future.
Not only do we need it deliver infrastructure that is sustainable, but we need to ensure that is infrastructure for sustainability.
Registrations opening soon. Tickets will be available from the ISC Connect website soon.
We look forward to welcoming you.
