Edge is one of Australia’s leading Life Cycle Assessment practitioners, with a team that includes several certified LCA professionals, led by the former president of the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society (ALCAS). Within the IS framework, we offer a range of materials impact assessment services. This includes materials use modelling and reporting, analysis of material use reduction opportunities, and detailed Life Cycle Assessments – with Life Cycle Assessments also considered to be a viable alternative to the use of the ISCA Materials Calculator. Our analysis draws on a wide array of previous projects and initiatives, and a wide array of product databases, allowing us to deliver a high quality, cost-effective service.

Our service offering within the Life Cycle Assessments space can assist clients targeting credits within the resource use categories as required in ISv2.0 Rso-6 and ISv1.2 Mat-1, including the development of base case proposals and completion of related credit summary forms. However, we also work in partnership with clients and their wider teams to undertake detailed assessments of strategic life cycle impact reduction opportunities.
