Description:

The Metro Tunnel Project will free up the City Loop, Melbourne’s biggest bottleneck, so more trains can run more often across Melbourne. New underground stations at Arden, Parkville, the northern edge of the CBD, the southern edge of the CBD and Domain, with the two new city stations directly connected to Flinders Street and Melbourne Central stations, will transform the way people move around Melbourne and improve access to key landmarks and destinations.

The $11 billion Metro Tunnel Project will transform the way people move around Melbourne, with ‘turn up and go’ rail services and improved access to key landmarks and destinations.

Construction is underway on the Metro Tunnel, Victoria’s biggest ever public transport project.

This video was filmed in February 2017 and reflects the Metro Tunnel Project at this point in time.
