The ISC will undertake research into the skills essential for professionals in the field of infrastructure sustainability. The ISC will survey, interview and host workshops to invite industry professionals to contribute to the research.
Framework
The research and industry consultation will inform the development of an Infrastructure Sustainability skills framework.
The framework will support individuals and organisations in the identification of:
- entry points to the profession including the application of transferable skill sets.
- career pathways through professional development
Report
Collating the research undertaken, a report, published across ISC channels and launched at and ISC event will detail the current and future skills required of infrastructure sustainability professionals with calls to action for industry, government and educational institutions.
The report will also include profiles of Women in Sustainable Construction and examples of capability initiatives in place that are attracting an inclusive and diverse workforce.
