About
PACT Reuse (formerly Viscount), developed noisewalls (RMP) for their internal use over 20 years ago and quickly saw the benefits and the opportunity. Now with their installation partner Aus Group Alliance Pty Ltd they jointly hold worldwide patents on RMP and have completed multiple noise wall and parapets in Australia and the Netherlands. Viscount supports the community with local tooling, manufacturing and material sourcing. Plastic RMPs also require less maintenance and offer more design possibilities, and a cheaper and safer installation for operators due to their light weight.
Sustainability Outcomes
Our patented Rotationally Moulded Panels (RMP) are designed to meet and endure the Australian climate and they can be customised to be aesthetically relevant for each community in which they are placed.
They can be made of 30%- 80% post-consumer kerbside recycled material – also known as PCR, from different sources including the known “milk bottle” grade or even harder to recyle soft plastics, amongst others. 10 km of Viscount patented RMPs could consume 260 tonnes of PCR waste or 6.190.000 reclaimed one litre milk bottles.
Supporting a circular economy, they offer an over 30% lower carbon footprint than concrete and longer life than timber for a product fully recyclable at end of life.
