The Nature & Financial Disclosures pathway, in collaboration with AECOM, supports infrastructure professionals to lead the shift toward nature-positive practice. It consists of four elements, each building on the previous one, from awareness of nature-related risks and opportunities to exploring practical ways to embed nature-based solutions in planning, delivery, and investment.

This engaging course has been designed to help infrastructure and sustainability professionals confidently integrate nature into strategy, design and investment decisions.
This practical program combines bite-sized learning, self-paced modules, a live expert-led masterclass, and a hands-on capstone project applying the TNFD framework to real-world scenarios.
Course structure
Once you register, you will have access to the full learning pathway.
- Microskill (6-8 min) - IS Learn
- A short video introducing Natural Capital, Nature-Based Solutions and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
- eLearning (60-90 min) - IS Learn
- A self-paced module exploring key drivers for action, TNFD, nature-based solutions, barriers to uptake, and alignment between TNFD and the IS Rating Scheme.
- Masterclass (10:00 am - 2:00 pm AEST) - via Teams
- A live online session on 20th April 2026, featuring expert facilitation, knowledge sharing, practical case studies, and interactive discussions.
- Capstone Project
- An applied learning activity that enables participants to develop solutions to real-world challenges using the knowledge and skills gained throughout the pathway.

All participants will commence the Capstone Project during the Masterclass, and those wishing to further deepen their skills can present their work to an SME panel (end of May), and receive personalised feedback.
- Digital Credential
- A shareable digital credential recognising successful completion of the learning pathway.
Learning objectives
On completion of this pathway, participants will be able to:
✔ Explain the relevance of nature-related risk and opportunity in an infrastructure context.
✔ Apply and elevate Nature-based Solutions (NbS) within projects.
✔ Engage cross-functional teams to shift culture toward nature-positive practices.
✔ Apply the TNFD framework to identify, assess, and manage nature impacts.
✔ Understand how data and insights from IS Ratings can inform ESG reporting, such as TNFD.
