ISAP Renewal - ISCouncil

ISAP accreditation is now renewed on an anniversary date

Historically, all ISAPs were to reaccredit within the ‘renewal period’, June- August.

From April 1st 2022, ISAPs will now renew their accreditation on an anniversary date.

The anniversary date is the date on your most recent ISAP accreditation certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

ISAP renewal is the annual reaccreditation of Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professionals.

Accreditation in the assessment of the IS rating scheme is a transferable skill that can be taken with you as move through your career.

Maintaining accreditation is the responsibility of the individual.

Those who have previously obtained an ISAP accreditation through the completion of IS for Professionals or ISv2.1 Unwrapped and have maintained their accreditation annually.

Your accreditation is due for renewal if:

  • the ‘valid to’ date on your most recent certificate is in the next month, or
  • the ‘valid for 12 months from’ date on your certificate is 11 months ago.

Example

Person A initially completed IS for Professionals in October 2019 and has renewed every year during the historic ‘renewal period’. Their most recent certificate states, ‘valid for 12 months from 12th July 2021’.

This means Person A is due to renew in July 2022.
The 12th of July is Person A’s anniversary date. This date will not change unless Person A chooses not to renew.

Depending on your current accreditations, you can choose to renew one accreditation, two (separately), or both (combined).

Read the options and example below to decide which renewal is right for you.
