Sustainability Outcomes

Waste diversion from landfill
Collecting items like workwear, boots, and PPE ensures they are recycled or repurposed instead of ending up in landfill.
Resource recovery & circular economy
Materials (e.g., textiles, plastics, rubber) are recovered and reused, reducing demand for virgin resources.
Reduced environmental footprint
Recycling uniforms and safety gear lowers carbon emissions associated with manufacturing new products.

Was-1 (IS v1.2) Assembled Threads provides tailored waste management solutions through its circularity programs, supporting projects during delivery and post pack-down. Our services include collecting materials such as shade cloth and mesh from site and repurposing them into commercial and merchandise products, extending their lifecycle and reducing landfill. We also offer uniform and PPE recovery programs, repurposing or recycling garments to minimise textile waste. This approach supports sustainable procurement outcomes while contributing to measurable environmental and social impact across major infrastructure and construction projects.

Rso-4 (IS v2.1 / IS v2.2) Assembled Threads is committed to sustainable practices by prioritising the reuse and repurposing of uniforms wherever possible. In collaboration with our partners, we facilitate the rebadging and reintegration of uniforms back into organisational use, extending the lifecycle of garments and reducing waste. Where reuse is not feasible, we offer a donation program to support underprivileged workers by providing them with access to quality uniforms, contributing to social equity and community support. For any remaining items that cannot be reused or donated, garments are responsibly processed through textile recycling initiatives, where they are shredded and transformed into alternative textile products and materials, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
