Established in 2003, JWA Composite Matting provides clients in the resource and infrastructure industry with sustainable solutions for temporary access, ground support, sediment control and wastewater recovery.

JWA Composite Matting’s composite matting range allows civil contractors and project teams to replace single-use materials such as crushed rock and plywood, in turn reducing landfill waste and remediation work.

Using composite mats to create an instant hardstand allows teams to minimise ground disturbance as they do not need to dig, prepare and bring in imported fill material. This also removes the need for remediation, trips to the landfill after the scope is complete, and overall emissions from reduced truck movements for fill material to and from site.

With proven track records in major projects, JWA Composite Matting not only understands the safety standards and regulatory requirements of clients, but also their drive to improve and innovate towards sustainable practices.

JWA Composite Matting introduced Australia to its first reusable rumble grid mat, FODS, which earned the IECA’s 2020 Highly Commended Award for Excellence in Education, Innovation and Contribution to the Erosion and Sediment Control Industry.
