About
Megaflo® Green socked slotted drain pipe is Australian-made using 100% locally sourced recycled HDPE material and is covered with Bidim® Green non-woven geotextile to prevent soil migration into the drainage system.
Megaflo Green rapidly collects and removes water through its unique shape and ribbed profile. Its slim 40 mm-wide profile enables faster, more cost-effective installation for efficient subsurface drainage. Compared with a 100 mm round agi pipe, it can drain water up to 4.9 times faster, with installation savings of up to 50%.
The drain pipe can be installed vertically or horizontally, with or without the need to excavate a trench, providing flexibility across a range of drainage applications. Its structural rigidity also provides higher compressive strength under traffic loads.
Geofabrics offers a range of connection fittings, including stormwater connectors, to suit different installation requirements.
Sustainability Outcomes
Geofabrics is helping shape a more sustainable future for infrastructure by developing and supplying products that reduce reliance on non-renewable resources and help divert waste from landfill. Megaflo Green drain pipe is manufactured from 100% Australian-sourced recycled plastics.
As road, rail and infrastructure authorities increasingly prioritise recycled content in project specifications, Megaflo Green provides a practical, locally manufactured solution that helps turn these requirements into real-world outcomes, transforming Australian waste into high-performance drainage products.
Megaflo Green is supported by an independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), providing designers, engineers and asset owners with transparent environmental data based on Australian manufacturing and production processes. Published through EPD Hub and compliant with EN 15804+A2 and ISO 14025, the EPD quantifies the product’s environmental footprint across its cradle-to-gate life cycle.
