An opportunity to strengthen connections with your peers, share knowledge
and inspire innovative and collaborative thinking.

Join us for the Annual Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professionals’ (ISAP) Day, regarded by many as a key gathering on the Infrastructure Sustainability New Zealand calendar, to be held in Auckland in 2024. This immersive one-day event brings together industry professionals from across the sector.

The program will feature presentations on the most recent innovations and trends in sustainable infrastructure, provide opportunities to unearth challenges, share knowledge and conclude with networking refreshments and celebration event to celebrate projects who have completed an IS Rating.

O Mahurangi Penlink Site Tour

During the second half of the day and prior to the Certification Celebration, we will be taking a site tour of the O Mahurangi Penlink Project. This project is a new 7km highway on the north shore of Auckland. The new road will provide network resilience with an alternative route from the Whangaparāoa Peninsula to East Coast Road and State Highway 1.

During the site visit you will get an insight to a large project that is working across both green fields and among communities. You will also see a few of the project’s innovations including ‘duff’, a growing medium for landscaping and replanting that has changed our approach to vegetation and topsoil management, as well as our largest bridge – the first of its kind in Aotearoa New Zealand.

PLEASE NOTE: full PPE is required if you wish to attend the site tour, this includes:

• Wrist to ankle clothing

• Safety glasses

• Hard hat

• Only orange high visibility vest or shirt

• Steel capped lace up boots – not elastic sided

If you have any questions, please reach out to events@iscouncil.org.
