This category of awards seeks to recognise individuals’ contributions to the creation of a world-class, sustainable infrastructure industry.
Award Descriptions
Emerging Leader
This award seeks to recognise emerging sustainability professionals (under 35 years of age) who demonstrate a strong contribution to the creation of a world class, sustainable infrastructure industry comprising a healthy, inclusive workforce, a responsible agile supply chain and sustainability-aligned investment and governance through:
- delivering value to stakeholders, and/or
- working in collaboration and partnership, and/or
- building capability in others
Sustainability Champion
This award seeks to recognise established sustainability professionals and/or infrastructure professionals that have championed sustainability on a particular project or initiative.
Entrants should demonstrate a strong contribution to the creation of a world class, sustainable infrastructure industry comprising a healthy, inclusive workforce, a responsible agile supply chain and sustainability-aligned investment and governance through:
- delivering value to stakeholders, and/or
- working in collaboration and partnership, and/or
- building capability in others
Enduring impact
This award seeks to recognise individuals who have a sustained contribution throughout their career to shape an enduring impact or legacy.
Entrants should demonstrate a strong contribution to the creation of a world class, sustainable infrastructure industry comprising a healthy, inclusive workforce, a responsible agile supply chain and sustainability-aligned investment and governance through:
- delivering value to stakeholders, and/or
- working in collaboration and partnership, and/or
- building capability in others
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to enter either the Emerging Leader or Sustainability Champion awards in the Individual contribution to a sustainable future category, the entrant must be a current Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP). Entrants in the Enduring Impact award are not required to be current ISAP’s.
To be eligible to enter, applicants, their current employer, or employer at time of application through to the completion of the Awards process, may not have been prosecuted, fined, or have charges or fines pending, for a violation of any environmental, social, or commercial law in Australia, New Zealand or overseas in the past three (3) years.
To be eligible to enter applicants must predominantly reside in either Australia or New Zealand.
